This policy applies to all users of the Serail app, and our core principle is local data processing and maximum user privacy protection. Serail does not require users to register for an account, log in with any identity information, or submit any personal profile content to use all core creative functions of the application.
Serail is designed with device-local privacy protection as the core design concept. All creative behaviors and data generation behaviors of users are completed based on the local device, and we strictly limit the collection and transmission of user data throughout the entire process.
Serail does not collect, record, analyze, or store any user facial information, facial biometric data, facial feature templates, facial identity feature points, or any derived facial recognition data in any form. The app only uses the photos uploaded by users for real-time AI campus portrait style rendering on the local device and temporary network transmission required for generation calculation. It will not extract facial feature information from user photos, will not build user facial feature archives, will not match facial data with any user identity tags, and will not retain, back up or migrate any facial-related information in any server or third-party platform.
All user operation data, creation records and image files are only stored locally on your iPhone or iPad device, and no private user data will be actively uploaded to any cloud server by the application.
The only user content processed by Serail is the original photos and portrait works generated by AI that users actively upload through the device album or camera. All processing behaviors are limited to the local device and necessary AI generation interface transmission.
During the entire image processing and AI generation process, Serail will not perform any facial data extraction, facial feature analysis, facial contour identification, facial attribute classification and other related operations on the pictures you upload. The AI style rendering function of the app only changes the scene, clothing, light and shadow tone and overall campus style of the picture, and does not capture, parse or store any unique facial biometric information of the user. No facial data will be cached, recorded or uploaded during any operation link.
The local processed information includes user creation style selection records, local portrait storage files, and user setting preference data. These data are all independently stored in the app's local sandbox space and cannot be accessed by any third-party application or third-party server.
All user creation data and image files generated by Serail are permanently retained only on the user's local mobile device, and we do not set any remote data retention mechanism. Users have absolute independent control over all local data.
Serail does not retain any user facial information in local storage or temporary cache. The app's local cache and data storage mechanism only stores portrait style parameters, creation time records and completed image files, and does not split, extract or save facial feature data in the pictures. Even if the user retains creation records locally, the application will not generate any independent facial data files, facial template files or facial feature backup files. All picture content is stored as complete image files, and no facial information is separately analyzed and retained.
When you actively delete a single portrait work, clear all creation records, or manually clear the app cache, the corresponding local image files and record data will be completely and permanently deleted from your device. When you uninstall the Serail app, all local storage data will be completely cleared in accordance with the standard iOS system mechanism, and no residual data will be left on the device.
Serail only generates temporary network data transmission when performing AI portrait style generation. The transmission content is only the complete picture data required for style rendering, and no personal identity information will be attached.
In any network transmission scenario, Serail will not independently collect, parse, extract or upload user facial information. The AI service interface only completes the overall style replacement and light and shadow optimization of the picture, and does not obtain, store or feed back any facial biometric data. We will never share, sell, lease or transmit any user facial information to third-party companies, service providers, advertising platforms or data statistics institutions. There is no facial data sharing or authorized use mechanism in the app.
Serail does not share your original photos, generated portraits and creation records with any third parties. All user creative content is only used for the user's personal local creation and viewing, and no commercial sharing or data leasing behavior will occur.
Serail only applies for necessary system permissions to complete core creative functions, including device album access permission and camera shooting permission. All permissions are authorized by the user actively, and users can turn off any permission at any time in the iOS system settings.
The album and camera permissions obtained by Serail are only used for users to upload photos and take photos for portrait creation. The permission invocation process does not involve facial recognition, facial scanning, facial feature collection and any other behaviors. The app will not automatically identify facial information in device photos, will not actively scan device album pictures to capture facial data, and will not monitor or collect user facial information in the background.
Serail will not apply for unnecessary system permissions, and will not use system permissions to collect user private data in the background. All permission usage behaviors are transparent and visible to users.
The premium membership service of Serail adopts the official Apple In-App Purchase mechanism, and all purchase behaviors, order records and membership status verification are completed through Apple's official system.
The membership service and order verification function of the app do not involve any collection and processing of user facial information. All purchase data only includes official order identification information generated by Apple, and is not associated with user portraits, facial features and any creative content. The activation and validity judgment of membership rights are completely independent of facial data, and no facial information matching verification will be performed.
Serail does not record user payment information, bank card information and other sensitive financial data, and all payment security is guaranteed by Apple's official payment system.
All users have full independent control rights over all creative data and local files generated by Serail. You can preview, save, export, delete and sort all portrait works and creation records independently in the app.
Since Serail never collects, stores or retains any user facial information, there is no facial data archive, facial feature record or facial identity file related to you in the app and any background server. You do not need to apply for facial data deletion, cancellation or privacy clearing. All your creative image content is completely controlled by you, and the app will not actively retain any of your facial feature information.
Users can clear temporary app cache at any time through the settings page. Clearing the cache will only delete temporary running data of the app and will not affect the saved portrait works, and will not generate any facial data collection and recording behavior.
We reserve the right to optimize and adjust this Privacy Policy according to product function iteration and service upgrade. After the policy is updated, we will display the latest policy content in the app settings page to ensure that users can view it in real time.
Any policy update and function iteration of Serail will always adhere to the core principle of not collecting, not storing, not analyzing and not sharing user facial information. The privacy protection rule of zero facial data collection will never be changed due to product function updates.
