These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Serail mobile application. By using Serail, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Serail provides all core creative features without mandatory account registration, login, or identity authentication. All users may use the App's functions directly on their personal mobile devices under the rules stated in these Terms.
Serail is a local device-based AI campus portrait creation application that allows users to upload personal photos, select campus uniform styles, scene themes, lighting tones and portrait moods, and generate Japanese-style campus portrait works through AI styling technology. All image generation and data processing are completed based on user local device storage and temporary secure network requests.
Serail does not collect, store, analyze, extract, or upload any facial information, facial biometrics, facial feature points, facial templates, or facial identity data of users at any stage of service provision. Our AI styling technology only optimizes the overall style, clothing, scene and light and shadow effect of the picture, and will not identify, parse or retain any user facial feature data. No facial data will be collected in the whole process of using our services.
We reserve the right to continuously optimize product functions, adjust UI display, iterate AI model effects and upgrade service experience to provide users with better creative services.
Users may use Serail for personal, non-commercial creative creation and viewing. You confirm that all photos you upload and use in the App are your personal legal photos that you have the right to use. You shall bear full responsibility for the content of the pictures you upload and the works you generate.
During your use of the App, we will not actively scan, identify, collect or record your facial information in any uploaded photos. The App's local processing and network generation links do not involve facial data capture and analysis behaviors. Even if you upload photos containing facial features, our system will not extract, store or independently archive any facial biometric information, and all facial content only exists in the complete image file saved locally on your device.
Users shall not use Serail to create, disseminate or derive illegal, inappropriate, offensive, infringing and bad content. Users shall not use the App's AI generation function for commercial profit, unauthorized secondary creation and distribution, or any behavior that violates public order and good customs.
All user creation records, original pictures and generated portrait works of Serail are stored only in the local sandbox space of the user's iOS device. We do not set up any cloud storage server to back up user creative data, and users have absolute independent control over all local data.
We strictly abide by the zero facial data collection rule. Serail will not automatically collect facial information from user albums, camera shooting content and generated works, will not establish user facial feature databases, will not match facial data with device information, and will not retain any facial recognition data in cache, log records or background running files. All device data processing behaviors do not involve facial biometric identification and collection.
You can delete single works, clear all creation records and clean up App cache independently in the App. After the user deletes the content, the corresponding local image files and record data will be completely cleared and cannot be recovered. Uninstalling the App will clear all local data in accordance with iOS official rules.
Serail provides optional premium membership services through Apple official In-App Purchase. All payment behaviors, order verification, membership activation and rights validity judgment are completed through Apple's official service system. We do not obtain any user payment privacy information.
The opening and use of premium membership services are completely independent of user facial information. The activation of membership rights such as high-definition generation,exclusive style templates will not trigger any facial data detection, collection and verification behavior. We will not associate user payment status with any facial feature information, and there is no facial data matching mechanism for premium services.
Users can view membership status in real time in the App and use the official restore purchase function to recover purchased rights. All premium services are only valid for personal use on the current device and do not support cross-device unauthorized sharing.
The App's overall interface design, icon style, text description, AI model algorithm, function framework and technical service logic are all protected by intellectual property rights. Users are prohibited from unauthorized copying, cracking, secondary development, reverse engineering and commercial use.
The intellectual property authorization and service provision of Serail do not involve the collection and use of user facial information. All technical iterations and function upgrades of the App will not use user facial data as training materials or commercial resources, and will not collect facial information to optimize model algorithms.
The portrait works generated by users based on personal photos belong to the users personally for non-commercial use. Users shall ensure that the generated works will not infringe the intellectual property rights and portrait rights of others.
Serail will try its best to maintain the stability and continuity of core creative services. The AI portrait generation function needs a normal network connection to complete the style rendering calculation. Local viewing, record browsing and setting functions can be used offline normally.
During server maintenance, function iteration and network service adjustment, we will not collect or supplement any user facial information in the background. All service maintenance behaviors only optimize data transmission efficiency and function compatibility, and do not involve facial data collection, statistics and analysis.
We do not guarantee that the service will be completely uninterrupted at all times, and will not be liable for service interruption caused by network exceptions, system upgrades, device environment exceptions and other external factors.
Users shall not use technical means to interfere with, crack or modify the App's functions, block service logic, or simulate generation behaviors in batches. Any abnormal operation that destroys the normal operation of the App will result in the temporary or permanent failure of related functions.
No abnormal operation of the user will trigger our facial data collection behavior. We will not actively monitor user personal photos and facial information, and all user behavior detection is only aimed at protecting service security, without any facial biometric collection behavior.
We have the right to update and adjust these Terms of Service according to product iteration and service optimization needs. The updated terms will be displayed in the App's setting page. Continued use of the App after the update means you accept the latest terms.
No update of these Terms will change our core commitment of zero facial data collection. We will never collect, store, share or use user facial information for any commercial or non-commercial purposes, and this rule is permanently valid.
